Before I sign off for the holidays, I wanted to let you know about one more company I found…interestingly enough…in the reverse logistics arena - that’s doing something ‘green’: meet www.greentec.com.
Greentec specializes in the collection and recycling of e-waste items such as printer cartridges and cell phones. They collect from more than 30 […]

You have no idea how pleased I am to hear this news. This is one big kick in the pants/motivation for every company out there working on a technology to serve our energy needs through alternative means. We can do it, should do, need to do it. I personally have signed every petition […]

I was reading Scientific American tonight…http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?chanID=sa003&articleID=00018706-7F7C-13A8-BF7C83414B7F0000 Thought this might interest some of you. It’s an article about the disappearing surface permafrost in the Artic. Most interesting to me, in the article, was this: "… Arctic rivers already carry 7 percent more fresh water to the ocean today than they did in the 1930s. The model […]

This is great news. But I just have one question…how are these funds going to be appropriated, and do they account for needed green technologies? There should be a resource directory of green technology companies standing at the ready in times of national and international disasters…anyone know where one of those is?

Yup, it’s out: issue numero uno. "Your Guide to Earth Friendly Living". This should be a good pub. If they do anything at all like www.living.com is doing - which I think is a great concept, this should be one darn good online source of eyeballs for plenty an advertiser. And it’s doing a great […]

I’m just going to give you a little heads-up about Azure, as I want to get a briefing by them in January, but this is pretty cool: http://www.azuredynamics.com/about_azure.htm Incorporated in 1997, Vancouver-based Azure Dynamics’ principal business lies in the development and commercialization of control systems for hybrid electric and electric vehicle powertrains. Azure vehicles are […]

Ah, another interesting little company. The web is such a wonderful resource. www.hydrogensolar.com. Did you know that these guys hold the worldwide exclusive rights to a technology they call the "Tandem Cell", which converts light and water directly into hydrogen fuel. Interesting. Here - a little excerpt from the firm’s website: " Hydrogen Solar has […]

Has anybody read through this list? http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?articleID=000398F0-45B5-137E-85B583414B7F0000
Very interesting. And yes, I’m sorry I haven’t blogged for a good solid week or so, but I’ve been very busy, and quite frankly, tired. So I’m back at it, recharged a bit after the weekend. Though I must say, it wasn’t quite as much fun for Jon, as […]
