Event Overview
The threat of global climate disruption, and the opportunities it presents, is already altering the way companies do business. Is that good citizenship, good business, or both? Learn about the efforts global players are taking to become more environmentally friendly companies and how this will effect and perhaps change their industries. At the session, four leading companies from different industry sectors will discuss their responsibility to protect the environment and how environmental protection and sustainability influence their business decisions and investor relations.
The MITCNC’s Clean Tech & Renewable Energy Program’s first event of the year will explore the implications of this new market force on current emitters, clean tech businesses, and the financial markets which value and invest in corporations. The event features a panel presentation and discussion with executives from BMW, Google, Lufthansa and PG&E, followed by a Q&A period with the audience. Time is reserved for networking and audience questions.
