Consulting Firm Lead to Head World Business Council for Sustainable Development

In my latest email newsletter from SAM, I see that
PricewaterhouseCoopers’ CEO was Appointed Chair of World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Per the newsletter, “The head of the world’s largest professional services firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), has been appointed the new Chairman of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). Samuel A. DiPiazza, who will take up his new post on 1 January 2008, taking over from Travis Engen, CEO of the aluminium manufacturer Alcan Corporation. DiPiazza is the first representative from a professional services organisation to chair the WBCSD. Founded in 1991, the WBCSD is an association of companies and one of the leading organisations advancing sustainable development.”
