Green Growth Technology Companies Being Incubated…

Tuesday, July 18th, 2006

Thought you’d like a little synopsis of some of what they’re incubating, so here’s my brain dump for the evening:

1)

NYClaim:

GGT has acquired the worldwide exclusive license for nylon reclamation from Eco-Tech Industries, Inc. This is a technology that makes possible the recycling and total resource recovery of used nylon carpet, backing materials and adhesive. This technology involves the use of certain proprietary chemicals in conjunction with specific mechanical devices that separate carpet fibers, backing and adhesive into their individual components. After separation, the nylon will be cleaned, pelleted and packaged. Other components, such as polypropylene backing, adhesive/fillers and other matting will also be separated and sold to different users at varying degrees of profitability.

2) GGT Aqua provides solutions to many water related problems. Our hypothesized results show benefits in:

  • Fish ponds – eliminates sewage and organic waste and adds soluble oxygen to the water.
  • Increase activity in the fish – fish consume more food and grow faster.
  • Increases beneficial bacteria in closed water ecosystems such as fish aquariums.
  • Changes Ph to eliminate certain non-beneficial algae, moss, etc.
  • Potential elimination of contamination with dramatic increase in production.
