Han’s Technologies happens to be local, and exactly in the range of the type of companies I’m trying to eyeball more…according to the company’s website, Han’s Technologies is an engineering and management firm providing environmental planning, construction supervision to municipalities, industry, and private developers.  HTI’s main office in Oakland is supported by permanent liaison offices in Shenzhen, Guizhou, Hong Kong of China and Vancouver, Canada. With the history of anticipating challenges and proven experiences under 14 US patents in the area of waste-energy technologies, the company has developed a premier reputation as a leading international provider for over 60 environmental projects worldwide, as recently awarded by the US Department of Commerce, State of California, and also recognized by Congress people Mike Honda and Barbara Lee.  HTI’s ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams of experts and to define international project priorities has been demonstrated through the BOT projects succeeded in Guizhou Province in China.

Whether it’s tap water for homes, sophisticated waste treatment for industry, centralized or decentralized treatment, or the design, construction, operation and financing of entire water and wastewater projects.

Starting in 1998, Han’s engineers have built nine (9) state of the art waste water treatment plants (WWTP s), most using Han’s SBR for the total capacity of over 1,000,000 m3/day, or 265 MGD.

·Yin-chuan First WWTP, Ningxia
·Xiao-he WWTP (Phase I), Guizhou
·Bao-an WWTP, Shenzhen
·Long-gang WWTP, Shenzhen
·Nan-shan WWTP, Shenzhen
·Qin-zhen WWTP, Guizhou
·Hua-xi WWTP, Guizhou
·Mei-Xian WWTP, Guangdong

In addition, as founder/leader of "Guizhou Environmental Improvement Projects", Han’s is investing to build another four water treatment plants and water supply piping systems in Guizhou Province of China through the Western Water Corp, the subsidiary in Hong Kong:

·Na-yong Piped Water System, Guizhou
·Zhi-jin Piped Water System, Guizhou
·He-zhang Piped Water System, Guizhou
·Da-fang Piped Water & Reservoir, Guizhou
