San Francisco’s Transbay Terminal Gets the Green Light - Contract Awarded to Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects

First look at what’s to come here. Looks like the structure will incorporate an almost 5 1/2 acre green roof, high-performance glazed glass bolstered by passive solar shading, wind turbines, a geothermal heating and cooling system, and a sophisticated rain and graywater recycling system that will also be able to provide water to neighboring buildings.
