Sustainable Towers in Malaysia

Jon and I are leaving for Yosemite later this week, so I’m doing my brain dump for the week tonight while I’ve got the time. My apologies to those of you who will wonder why you received several email posts today from me. I need to figure out how to get my site to automate when posts go out, I know. Anyway – that’s a project for a later date.

In the meantime, (as you know), I’m fascinated by environmentally ‘conscious’ architectural design…and Studio Nicoletti Associati has a project on the books in Malaysia, the design of which I think is just really cool. Thanks to Inhabitat for posting this one. Here’s more info here.

I think I like curves in buildings better than this idea of square blocks. Or maybe it’s just that this is just a very unique design….I don’t know…but I really like the idea of buildings that are designed to appear as boats sailing on a lake.
