While it’s not really stated here in this article, it’s interesting to think about what’s pushed the investing herd to put a lot more of a push behind clean technogies than we’ve seen in the past several years. I had my head in other things — keeping my job at the time, as long as I could, and before that, I was running full-on as an IT analyst.  Whether it be solar, water, geothermal, green whatEVER - we can thank the war in Iraq and the mixed emotions as to why we’re even there for having helped spur investors to see that there is a real and very serious need to invest in life and planet sustaining technologies. And, consumers and scientists have done a very effective job of pushing the investing community to invest more ‘green’ as well. I suppose it’s nature’s way of maintaining the balance of things that has seen us at war in Iraq at the same time that clean tech investing has really come much more into focus than in previous years. Sad that it’s taken this mix of events in the political landscape, but such seems to be the case.  This article is a really good read. Check it out. And no, it’s not on politics. It’s on water technology investing.  Here are two related articles…http://www.redherring.com/Article.aspx?a=13176&hed=Water%3a+The+New+Oil
